PLIDA
PREPARATORY COURSE FOR THE
PLIDA CERTIFICATE EXAM
This course is given in the
afternoon and provide for 15 hours of lessons to be attended over a two or
three-week period. The purpose
of this course is to prepare candidates for the PLIDA exam through classroom
simulations using actual PLIDA exams from previous sessions.
Candidates are thus able to anticipate how the PLIDA exam is
structured, how to work within its time limits and how to develop a strategy
for successfully taking the PLIDA exam.
The courses are given twice a
year, in May and November, in correspondance with the PLIDA sessions and as
close as possible to the dates of the examinations, enabling candidates to
put the preparation to use in the most profitable manner possible.

Levels A1/A2/B1: 6 lessons (150
minutes each)

Levels B2/C1/C2: 5 lessons (180
minutes each)
For the students who wish to
attend our preparatory courses, even though they do not take the examination
in Florence, our school can start these courses at any time of the year.

DIDACTICS COURSES FOR L2 ITALIAN TEACHERS
This course is intended for those who wish to study the theory and practice
of teaching the Italian language to foreigners.
The course is aimed also at teachers who would like to study our
instruction methods. This 2 week
course, for a total of 35 hours, is structured as follows:
1. 15 hours dedicated to the
theory and practice of the L2 Italian language didactics.
2. 20 hours dedicated to
apprenticeship. Students attend
classes at various levels, as auditors and then as tutors.
At the end of the course,
students will receive an Attendance Certificate.
