Guided visits to Museums
A teacher – who is also a tourists’ guide - takes students to some of the most important museums of the city of Florence, giving them a real lesson of History of Art in Italian language.
Visits take place in the afternoon from Monday to Friday.
Uffizi Gallery
The Italian painting between ‘200 and ‘600 and particularly the Renaissance painting in Tuscany. Visiting the most important picture-gallery in the world you can admire the works of art by Giotto, Cimabue, Duccio di Buoninsegna, Simone Martini, Giottino, Gentile da Fabriano, Masaccio, Paolo Uccello, Filippo Lippi, Filippino Lippi, Pollaiolo, Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Andrea del Sarto, Pontormo, Rosso Fiorentino, Tiziano and by Caravaggio.
Accademia Gallery
This visit is dedicated to Michelangelo and to the birth of his masterpiece, the David; as well as to other six statues by Michelangelo, among them the famous “Prisons”.
The visit continues with some Tuscan paintings between ‘200 and ‘500 and with some famous sculptures of the 19th century.
St. Lorenzo Church and The Medici Chapels
This tour is dedicated to the Renaissance architecture by Brunelleschi, to the history of the Medici family and to the famous sculptures by Michelangelo inside the Medici Chapels (Twilight , Dawn, Night and Day).
You can also admire woks of art by Donatello, Desiderio da Settignano, Bronzino, Rosso Fiorentino, Filippo Lippi and by Verrocchio.
